Since early March, billboards throughout the country have been cryptically hinting at a Rolling Stones tour. The Internet has been riled up with speculation, and now, we finally have a concert date to tattoo onto our forearms. The Rolling Stones - frontman Mick Jagger, guitarists Keith Richards and Ron Wood and drummer Charlie Watts - will be performing at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, June 27.

This is the third time the Rolling Stones will perform at Arrowhead; the band first performed there in June 1975, then again in October 1989. (In December 1981, the band performed two back-to-back shows at Kemper Arena, and stopped there again in 1999.)

The winter months can get a little scarce in terms of local shows and music options, unless you know where to look for the good stuff. Tomorrow night offers up one such gem, when Midwest Chamber Ensemble performs a free concert at the the Bell Cultural Events Center at MidAmerica Nazarene University.

The phrase "jazz vespers" conjures images of a worship service with some rhythmic flair. But starting Sunday, January 11, and continuing on the second Sunday of each month, the First Baptist Church of Kansas City puts a new twist on that notion. The church introduces the Kansas City Jazz Vespers series with its first free (and secular, in case you were wondering) concert, featuring the KC vocal ensemble Book of Gaia

Katy Guillen & the Girls, the Old No. 5s and Amanda Fish perform at Knuckleheads on Wednesday

The lineup for Knuckleheads' annual Christmas show — benefiting local nonprofit the Midwest Music Foundation — is nothing if not loud. Wednesday night, Outlaw Jim and the Whiskey Benders are as likely to break bottles as they are strings, while Katy Guillen & the Girls bring a fierce, electric fury to blues music. The Old No. 5s seem to take no greater pleasure than playing gritty, old-fashioned blues, particularly when it's accompanied by a beer and a shot. Powerhouse Amanda Fish joins the Stone Cutters Union, another spirited blues ensemble.

Dolls on Fire celebrates its new album tonight at Davey's Uptown

Dolls on Fire is the kind of macabre band name that makes you think the members have a few deep-seated issues to work out. On the group's 2012 record, Ladies and Gentlemen ..., Dolls on Fire seemed to be exorcising youthful angst. That continues on Synesthesia, the group's latest album. Lead singer Zach Hodson's voice is exuberant and theatrical and, at times, an odd complement to the grizzly electric guitar and garage-rage drumming. Dolls on Fire's other lead singer, Rachel Jaggard, adds thoughtful harmonies and excitable range.

Haerts performs at RecordBar on Tuesday

Attention, lovers of 1980s synth-tastic baby-making music: Brooklyn's Haerts is here for you. The group's self-titled debut is a dreamy listen, suited for equal parts true love and bad decisions. To be fair, it's not all "Sexual Healing"–themed cuts. "No One Needs to Know" finds lead singer Nini Fabi bemoaning an unfulfilling relationship, while "Giving Up" — clearly written for Haerts' Columbia Records labelmate Haim — finds Fabi ceding her fight for love.

Eric Church and Dwight Yoakam take over the Sprint Center on Friday, tickets still available

If you took the North Carolina twang out of Eric Church and replaced it with, say, a more neutral singing voice — perhaps laced with a smoker's grit — the 37-year-old country star would probably have to jump genres. As it is, his pronounced accent is about the only thing keeping him on country radio.
