Despite the possibility of a reschedule the day after Cinderella's show was canceled, Crossroads KC announced yesterday:
"Unfortunately, Cinderella will not be rescheduled. You can get refunds at point of purchase. Sorry for the inconvenience."
If you're wondering where you'll get your hair metal fix, fear not: Whitesnake plays the Midland on Tuesday, August 9.
Score cheap tickets to the collaboration between Quixotic and the Kansas City Symphony. (We just might have a couple of pairs of tickets to give away to you faithful readers, too -- just keep checking back here.) But if you want to grab discounted tickets to the May 13 and May 14 event -- full tickets will run you from $25 to $55 -- head over to Missouri Bank on Southwest Boulevard.
Discounted tickets for Symphonic Quixotic avail this Friday, May 6, at Missouri Bank (125 Southwest Blvd.) inside the lobby! Mention the discount to receive $5 off all seats (plus no ticketing fees if purchased at First Fridays) for a total of $9 in savings!
You heard the big announcement about Kanrocksas lineup already, right? Well, starting today, you can snag tickets to the two-day festival at the speedway in KCK.
Starlight is booking a slew of nostalgia acts this summer, and the latest installment is Huey Lewis and the News. That's all well and good, but here is what's more important: It's a super-cheap way to see local Afrobeat extraordinaire Hearts of Darkness rock Starlight's gigantic, killer sound system. (Of course, you can also try to figure out how that group ended up on a Huey Lewis bill. We're stumped, too -- but we ain't complaining.)
While supplies last, you can groove to Hearts of Darkness for only 10 bucks. It's a deal that you get when you snag a four-pack -- y'know, four tickets -- for $40. Based on the way this party band sells out venues, finding three friends to chip in $10 shouldn't be too hard.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 22, at 9 a.m. for the June 16 show.
Vans Warped Tour will keep its annual date with Sandstone this year, on July 6, for the 2011 installment of the nationwide tour. Main-stage artists include 3OH!3, A Day to Remember, Travie McCoy, the Devil Wears Prada and Asking Alexandria.
As of Saturday, you can also snap up your Warped Tour tickets already at a lower price: Pre-sale package prices are around $25 and include a commemorative 3-D ticket -- which also serves as a jump-the-line early-entry pass -- and a Vans Warped Tour 2011 compilation CD, among other things. Only a limited number of pre-sale tickets are available per city, and once they sell out, they're gone. Click here to score 'em.
All this pre-sale action you readers have been seeing lately is pretty awesome, isn't it? Here's another one, for another Starlight show: Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs -- winner of the Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album -- is stopping in KC this summer with Brandi Carlile and Secret Sisters on June 15. Thanks to The Pitch, you can score tickets a full day early.
We've already announced that Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs -- winner of the Best Contemporary Folk Album -- is coming to Starlight this summer with Brandi Carlile and Secret Sisters on June 15.
Tickets are on sale on Saturday, and they'll be traditional seating. This is good and bad: A ticket will run you $35 to $45, but you can also pony up to get Producer's Circle tickets if you're a big fan of the star. (The bad news: You can't elbow your way to the front. It just ain't classy.)
