Patriots, Broncos & Seahawks Are The Top Priced Chiefs Tickets In 2014

Last season the Kansas City Chiefs finished 11-5 and got the top wild card spot. Then after building up a seemingly insurmountable lead against the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the postseason, but the Colts won behind the second biggest comeback in postseason history. This season many analysts expect the Chiefs to regress and miss the postseason, mainly due to their horrid record in games against teams with winning records last season. The only team they beat with a winning record last season was a Philadelphia Eagles team they beat Week 3. The Eagles started the season 1-3 and 3-5 before turning their season around. But the Chiefs also dealt with several injuries last season, and the return of their stars might be enough to have them make the postseason. With the advantage the Chiefs have in Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs are going to need to have a strong home record to make the postseason.

Kansas City Chiefs tickets have a $143.94 average price on the secondary market this season. Below are the three most expensive home games on the Chiefs schedule this season.

Week 4 vs. New England Patriots | Avg. Price: $197.08 | Get-in Price: $54

The most expensive Chiefs game of the season will come on Monday Night Football, with the Patriots coming to town. The Patriots have been the model of consistency since Bill Belichick took over as head coach. This season they are once again considered a top contender to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. It certainly makes sense that the average price of Chiefs vs New England Patriots tickets is $197.08 with a get-in price of $54 that’s tied for the most expensive of the season.

Week 13 vs. Denver Broncos | Avg. Price: $195.62 | Get-in Price: $54

To start the year the Chiefs were 9-0 and seemed like a possible threat to the Denver Broncos in the AFC West. Then the Broncos beat them twice in the span of three weeks, and the Chiefs ultimately lost the final three games of their season to put a permanent end to any question about AFC West supremacy. This season the Chiefs and Broncos are in another late-season game, and it’ll likely be a key game if the Chiefs have any hope of winning the division. Like the New England game, this will be played in prime time on Sunday Night Football. The game is just a tad less expensive than the Patriots game with Chiefs vs Denver Broncos tickets having an average price of $195.62 and $54 get-in price.

Week 11 vs. Seattle Seahawks | Avg. Price: $156.95 | Get-in Price: $35

Two weeks earlier, the defending Super Bowl champions make their way to Arrowhead Stadium as the Chiefs play the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks should once again be one of the top teams in the league after returning the majority of players who won a Super Bowl together last year. The game is one of the more expensive games on the Chiefs schedule, but the $156.95 average price and $32 get-in price is actually pretty cheap compared to what most Seahawks tickets are averaging this season on the secondary market.
