The cosmetics department at Nordstrom is to grownups what Children's Palace was to kids. Occupying a large portion of the first floor, the cosmetics department is an oasis of experimental fun, with hundreds of eye shadows, lipsticks, blushes, and more laid out for all to enjoy. The urge to try on glitter eye shadow or blue hair-mascara is unavoidable, and with such cool brands as Hard Candy, Urban Decay, Stila, and MAC next to the more traditional lines of Lancôme, Chanel, and Estée Lauder, it's a field day for Kevyn Aucoin-wannabes everywhere.
