Washing cars sucks. The five-minutes-for-$1.25 always sounds like a great deal until we actually start; three minutes go by and the wheels aren't even wet yet. Spotting is inevitable, waxing is a joke -- and don't even get us started on the vacuums. So we decided it was actually more economical to have someone else do it. And if that only sounds like a pathetic excuse for being lazy, check out Simoniz Car Wash. We drive up, jump out, and 15 minutes later our car is clean -- really clean, inside and out -- for ten bucks. Plus, we can watch the whole process through glass windows that run the length of the building ... and we only occasionally pretend we're in that one episode of Ally McBeal.
