05/03/07: Ate there a couple of weeks ago with a friend ...ordered their ckn fired steak dinner....HUGE portions(8 oz steak)..found out after researching what happened to our buy one get one free coupon they don't take checks....(they took ours, because we wrote the ck, put it in the pad and left and realized later we didnt get the buy one get on free discount)...so we're in negotiations on that...but the food and atmosphere was great!!!!!! And the price for that size steak was reasonable, too...Jane

We went tonight and had a horrid, horrid experience. My husband got the prime rib and mashed potatoes special for $18. It was grey and nasty looking and had more fat & gristle than anything. Also, there wasn't much in the way of the mashed potatoes. I had a burger and our server never asked how I wanted it cooked (so like every other place I have been to, I expected it to be at least medium well) and I had to send it back when it came out most likely medium or medium rare even. I also ordered the twice baked potato, which was the best part of the entire thing. We got the nachos for an appetizer and while they were ok, the shredded cheese on top wasn't even melted. Our server was only decent and the decor was much more suited for a bar or even sports bar, and was extremely uncomfortable to boot. We had bought a certificate on Restaurant.com worth $25, and even after that, because they automatically add 18% gratuity (LAUGH - It wasn't worth that much! :-/ ), we paid $30 after the certificate. We will NEVER go back and I recommend against it. We have no idea how they stay in business...
