Jerry's Bait Shop
With its vaguely tropical décor and many tanned patrons, Jerry's Bait Shop seems the kind of place Jimmy Buffet would enjoy. If he did, he wouldn't use the mic to sing about cheeseburgers. This bar, grill and concert venue, with locations in Lee's Summit and Lenexa, serves pizza that goes great with the almost-nightly rock shows. We suggest the rich chicken-ranch — diced bird, sliced tomatoes, fresh mushrooms and onions, and a creamy layer of ranch dressing blended with the cheese. Jerry's crust comes crispy-thin or braided (the standard braid thick enough to be its own faintly sweet breadstick). Jerry's doesn't serve its pizza by the slice, but that's OK. One piece would just be a tease.
