This red-roofed warehouse on Wornall has an entire room dedicated to immaculate dining sets, dressers of all sizes, and mattresses that don't look like an invitation to contract an STD. Sure, that forest-green leather sofa or seven-piece cherry shelving set might cost a couple hundred bucks, but it's still a whole lot cheaper than the low-quality items available at soulless big-box retailers. And all the profits from Second Chance support the City Union Mission, the largest shelter for Kansas City's homeless.
