Now that the trend for Chinese restaurants is to be sleek, modern and stylish like the new Mandarinism or the sexy Bo Lings location in the City Market, it’s getting harder to find those good old dumpy but comfortable and cheap Chinese storefront restaurants. You know the kind, with the lunch buffet of unrecognizable but edible items in gloppy-looking cornstarch-based sauces and the paper "Chinese Zodiac" placemats. But if you look hard enough, those classic restaurants still exist – and they still serve Pu Pu Platters and Egg Foo Young!
Do you know where this one is?

Based on the air conditioner above the window, I'm guessing it's Aloha ChopStix on Rainbow and 43rdish.
The air conditioner above the door makes me want to say it's Aloha Chopsticks (or something like that) on Rainbow Blvd and about 42nd St, but I've never been there so I'm not even sure it's actually a Chinese restaurant.
