Eat breakfast with Santa, Tyrannosaurus Rex. What could go wrong?

"Breakfast with Santa at T-REX CAFE" brings up so many thoughts of One Million Years B.C. and inappropriately violent scenarios.

Sadly though, the actual event seems more mundane, without the whole carnivorous-dinosaurs-chasing-fat-guy-in-red-suit angle. It's more along the lines of breakfast buffet (where do I know those words from?) for kids of all ages and a chance to be greeted by Santa and sit on an elderly stranger's lap.

All of which takes place tomorrow and the following two Saturdays from 8 to 10 a.m. at T-Rex Cafe in the Legends at Village West. The cost is $10.99 for adults and $6.99 for children 4-12 years old. In addition to Santa and dinosaurs, the press release promises "family friendly activities, prizes galore and caroling."

You know if you take out the caroling part, that pretty much sounds like what John Hammond tells the scientists as they visit his island at the beginning of Jurassic Park.
