It's hard to believe this video is only seven years old, but here he is in 2001, espousing on food and reviewing Dixie Kitchen and Bait Shop in Chicago.

The most telling part of the video: Ever the politician, he ordered the southern sampler to avoid getting pigeon-holed into a one-entree kind of guy.

From community channel guest to president in seven years: God bless America.
