Southern Food Brokerage allows you to pursue food and rap career at same time

Posted by Owen Morris on Wed, Jan 7, 2009 at 10:15 AM

If you were a food brokerage in 1985 and wanted to show customers you were relevant and efficient and would have all the items that they needed, what better way than to make a parody video of the Super Bowl Shuffle?

Presenting the best thing you'll watch all day.

I was going to make a joke about how stiff and robotic all the people in the video are but then I watched the original Super Bowl Shuffle by the Chicago Bears below. To Southern Food Brokerage's credit, I think they could give the Bears a run in a dance-off.

In case you were wondering, Southern Food Brokerage is no more. It was bought out in 1991 by Sales Mark which later became known as Crossmark. (There's an office in Overland Park.)

All in favor of starting a campaign to have Crossmark remake the Super Bowl Shuffle video yearly say ay. -- Owen Morris

Wow. Did James (who starts his flow at 2:34) seriously say "Fleischmann's margarine is fun to sell / If they don't buy they can go to hay-ell"?

The three hotties are by far the highlight. They gots ski11$.

Having formerly worked at Crossmark, I can confirm that the corporate office still makes goofy ass videos that employees are subjected to every quarter.
