I'm sorry to say this, mechanical bull fans, but one your own passed away this week. Saddle Ranch Chop House of the Legends hung up its hat on Monday.
Yes, the restaurant did offer big chunks of prime rib served on huge stainless steel platters and it did offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as the drunk's delight (breakfast until close). But the meat of the restaurant was that bull, and getting to watch other patrons get thrown around like sacks of cornmeal. Now the only bucking bull in town is Norman at the
PBR Big Sky Bar.
Saddle Ranch's Kansas City location was only the fifth (and the farthest-east) location for the California-based chain. No word on what will go in the space.
