Kansas City brings the testosterone. That is, if you believe a new study commissioned by the snack Combos and executed by research company Bert Sperling (of the semi-famous Best Places to Live list).
They determined Nashville to be the number one manliest city followed by Charlotte, Oklahoma City, Cincinnati, Denver, St. Louis, Columbus and then us. Take that, Indianapolis and Toledo -- numbers 9 and 10. New York was dead last at 50, and Los Angeles was close at 49.
My excitement at Kansas City's high ranking was diminished when I saw our competition. Toledo? Looking more at the survey, I got mad. I don't know how to break the news, but Kansas City should be ranked higher, like number one or two. Eight is practically an insult. According to Bert Sperling, here's what determines manliness:
... the number of U.S.-made cars driven in the city, number of sports bars and BBQ restaurants, number of home-improvement and hardware stores, as well as manly salty snack consumption. The bold and italics are mine. They were counting barbecue joints, and Kansas City still only came in eighth. The city must be lacking in hardware stores or sports bars (St. Louis was number one in that category) or American-made cars. Better categories would be beards, gun racks and number of empty beer cans smashed on head in the past year.

I have laughed about this post for 5minutes the sign is absolutely hysterical. The only thing left to add to the thing sold there are BBQ.
Hi, nice write-up. We're very big believers of natural testosterone production - our health is too important to destroy it with steroids or other drugs, so we push new products from Mother Nature. Anyway, thanks again and cool site - I'm subscribed to your RSS feed now so thanks again!
Home improvements are basically adding or renovating things in your home.Sometimes there comes a time in every homeowner's life when they sit back and wonder just what could be done to improve the look and value of their home.you can make all your money back and hopefully a little more.
