Today is not only the last day of April, it's also the last day to get tickets for only $30 to Taste of KC.
What is Taste of KC you ask? Why only one of the largest annual food and drink extravaganzas in the city sponsored by none other than this magazine. This year's event is May 17 in the Power & Light District. There will be more than 20 restaurants on hand like Cafe Tandoor, Jardine's, The Drop and Flying Saucer serving food along with wine, mixed drinks and beer samples. The highlight of the night is the Gold Fork Competition, where six chefs have one-hour to make a dish using secret ingredients.
