Tomorrow, best-selling author and former Harper's editor Michael Pollan speak at Unity Temple on the Plaza. He'll talk about his book In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto, which was released in paperback late last month.
Pollan will also be answering audience questions and signing copies of the book. The $15 tickets for the event include a copy for Pollan to sign as well as an extra guest ticket. There will also be a prize drawing featuring gift certificates to restaurants such as Justus Drugstore, and appetizers and refreshments (all-natural of course) from Farm to Market Bread and the Kansas City Center for Urban Agriculture.
