Many of you Twitter (as does Fat City) or are on Facebook or both. I know this because I follow a decent number of readers and know many of you have the talent to get paid to Tweet and send Facebook pokes all day. Especially when the salary is $10,000 a month and includes transportation as well as a "deluxe private home" in Sonoma County.
That's the offer Murphy Goode Winery of California is making to find the right candidate for its "Really Goode Job." It wants a person who can use social media to "tell
the world about our wines and the place where we live." Essentially the six-month gig would involve getting plastered a lot and writing about it.
So how does one acquire such a plum job?
Through social media of course. Murphy Goode is asking potential
candidates to upload a 60-second video explaining why they should be
the choice. So far, 150 videos has been submitted but only one from the
Kansas City area, Leawood specifically. Check out your competition
would be excellent if someone from Kansas City won (and then invited me
out to visit). You still have plenty of time to make your video and
turn in the written application. The deadline is June 19.

Now THAT IS what I'd call an interesting take on things. What I would suggest though is talking to other people actively involved in the scene and bring to light any different points of view and then update your site or create a new post for us to stew over. Hopefully you'll take my advice, I'm looking forward to it! Try to cover off on some graffiti characters as well if you can, they're very popular at the moment.
this video looks like it was shot on a cell phone. and speaking about worn out jokes, she could have used "I fly so much, my arms are always tired" - I think it's public domain.
I don't know...on the downside, I've won zero trophies for public speaking, have had zero artsy grrrl photos taken of me in front of graffiti, and didn't fly on a plane until I was 19 years old.
On the upside, I've been of legal drinking age for considerably more than a year, have impeccable taste in fonts, and understand the importance of lighting when shooting video.
