Fat City has received an e-mail from Celina Tio, the former chef at The American Restaurant, announcing that she has signed the lease for the restaurant space at 6227 Brookside Plaza -- last occupied by Joe D's Wine Bar.
Tio, who plans to make a more formal announcement tomorrow, writes that her new restaurant will be called Julia(n) and will be a casual dining venue.
