Tonight, Bluestem hosts an event with tapas and wines from Luis Felipe Edwards. One of the largest wineries in Chile, Edwards has managed to remain a critics' darling, mostly because it's still a family-run operation. One family member -- Ignacio Edwards -- will on hand tonight along with a Brazilian jazz duo.

The event features five wines and four appetizers, all situated buffet-style in Bluestem's classy bar area. The wines include a chardonnay, sauv blanc and carmenere, which is quietly turning into one of Chile's most popular grapes. The tapas include oyster shooters, marinated skirt-steak skewers and charred calamari and smoked pork empanadas.

The tasting lasts from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 and reservations are required. Make them by calling 861-561-1101.
