If you don't have plans tonight, check out the free screening of Food, Inc. at the Tivoli Cinemas. The film has been getting rave reviews but so far has reached a limited audience, grossing just under $2 million since opening last month on the coasts.
Chipotle hopes to change that with this screening, which it's also sponsoring in 31 other cities. Chipotle founder Steve Ells has been promoting the movie in his stores and in interviews, saying he hopes all his customers see it.
The screening starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Since premiering in KC at the Tivoli last Friday, the movie has also opened on the Kansas side at Leawood Theaters with three showings daily.

For those who couldn't make it, I highly recommend seeing this movie ASAP. Particularly those who see nothing wrong with the food system or the health care system.
Disturbing, saddening, and enlightening. I'm glad I went. Thanks for the heads up!
