We have a tendency in society to take somebody who is good at one thing and hope that their success translates into another medium. With chefs, the danger lies in taking them out of the kitchen and asking them to become performers.
Variety broke the news yesterday that Gordon Ramsay is set to be the star of a new stop-motion animation series made by Cuppa Coffee Studios -- best known for the Celebrity Deathmatch series on MTV:
Gordon Ramsay, at Your Service is described as a half-hour laffer that will take "the essence of who he is and have a bit of fun with it," according to Adam Shaheen, prexy of Cuppa Coffee. The show is a long way from your television set (it's still being shopped and needs a writer), but the thought of a cartoon version of the over-the-top chef seems a bit much, even in concept. While he has a high-powered personality, it is more caustic than comedic.

I'm actually kind of excited about this - some of the best dishes start out with the strangest combinations of ingredients. In this case, we'll have to wait and see!
I love that the author of this has no idea about the show or what its about while acknowledging that it hasnt even been made yet he is quick to judge - I for one am no defender of Ramsay but I am also somewhat tired of the boring one sided
journalistically inept remarks made about any new project.
Well at least my names not Bender!
