Consider it a long weekend and make plans for Monday night. It's always interesting to hear the stories behind a cookbook, and chef
Jasper Mirabile is never short on stories, so it makes sense that he's
hosting a cooking demonstration and cookbook signing from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at his restaurant. Tickets are $45, or
$40 for members of the American Institute of Wine and Food (the
organization putting on the event). That price includes a tasting of
several recipes and wines and the chance to watch Mirabile in action.
