jalapeno-infused vodka from the Record Bar. Tickets are $25.
Blues and barbecue are good for the soul and you've got the chance to increase your consumption of both on Sunday at B.B.'s Lawnside BBQ. Dave McBee -- inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame earlier this year -- and the Confessors hit the stage at 6 p.m. Grab a slab of ribs and settle in for a while. Tickets are $4.
Although Veterans Day has passed, those in the military haven't been forgotten. Colorado Technical University offers a free dinner on Monday in an event intended to educate reservists, veterans and other members of the military about education benefits, including the Yellow Ribbon Fund and post 9/11 GI Bill.
