The splendiferous ham daiquiri

The list of meat-based cocktails grew a bit fatter last week, as the team behind the McNuggetini decided to collaborate on a Ham Daiquiri.

It's nice to know that creators Alie Ward and Georgia Hardstark weren't just offering a pithy joke at the end of their first video and have delivered on the promise of a ham-inspired cocktail.

"I'm going to go on record that this is a bad idea .... the ham is blended," warns Hardstark at the beginning of the video. Of course, this only makes you want to see what happens next.

The drink's ingredients are fairly standard for a daiquiri -- with the notable exception of the ham and the flavors the duo chooses in order to mimic the flavors of honey and roasting.

The ingredient list includes ice, pineapple, pineapple juice, honey (in lieu of simple syrup), Jamaican rum, liquid smoke and honey ham. All of which will be blended into what Ward refers to as "the fifth state of matter: a meat-shake."

Unlike at the end of the McNugettini video, this time Ward and Hardstark are prepared with an airsickness bag. The final result is almost tan in color, and could be a pineapple or banana daquiri if you didn't know better.

While the taste is apparently not an issue, Ward reluctantly notes that the ham daiquiri is ... "very chewy." The experiment ends without a suggestion for the duo's next cocktail. I'm thinking they should head in the direction of meat and potato vodka or some ribs and bourbon.

"Like someone came along and chewed your lunch for you."

AUGH!!! And threw some RUM in for good measure.

I don't know how they can keep drinking it.
