The Well has quickly established itself on the Waldo circuit since opening this August -- and now it's hoping to attract more patrons with a host of new menu and drink offerings.

The bar and grill debuted its Sunday Brunch yesterday, which features an omelet bar among the six stations offering breakfast breads, fruit, eggs benedict, salads and desserts. For those who need it, there's also a Bloody Mary bar with enough vegetables for you to consider that your meal.

Brunch is offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays; it's $13.99 for adults, $6.99 for kids over six years old. The regular lunch menu is still served between noon and 11 p.m., so you can avail yourself of this year's best burger. If you ask nicely, you might be able to snag the slider burger and fries ($4.99) off the kid's menu, even if you are dining sans little ones.

In addition to the brunch, The Well is one of only nine bars in the area to have Magic Hat #9 -- an American Pale Ale with apricot extract -- on tap. It is the right flavor for a rainy evening of drinking. You'll definitely taste and smell the fruit up front, but this is the kind of beer that could win over those who refuse a lemon in their Wheat. The Vermont-brewed craft beer is also available up the street at Swagger Fine Spirits and Food, if you'd like to do an incredibly specific Waldo pub crawl.

Magic Hat #9 is my new favorite beer. It's also available at the Record Bar now.

The burger is good, but far from the best in KC. Lew's and The Well must have upped their ads to receive such an honor...
