Hot Pockets is brand diversifying and rolling out a new slate of products, including Sideshots, described as "mini soft-baked sandwiches."
When I went out in search of Super Bowl snack food options, two varieties came home with me from the frozen food section: mini cheeseburgers and mini buffalo style chicken. They come four to a package in two cellophane sleeves. (They're also available in packs of 22, which I believe are reserved for eating challenges.)
You "heat, break, and eat" in the same style as bake-and-break cookie dough. The instructions for cooking are on the cellophane -- it's a minute and 45 seconds for each pair of mini sandwiches. And lest you were thinking about beginning an illicit hot-pocket business, these cellophane packages are "not for resale."
Mini Cheeseburgers
These smell like White Castle sliders coming out of the microwave. A shot of orangey cheese and burger bits erupted from the center line when I broke apart my burger circles.
There's no metal crisping sleeve -- which seems like heresy for a Hot Pocket product. The crust is soft and chewy -- a slightly sweet dinner roll -- that mutes the salty cheese and burger.
It's a bit of cheeseburger soup with a lava center that means no matter how long you wait, the middle will toast the roof of your mouth. Remember that idea of drunk kryptonite -- this would fell a lot of Supermen.

We love both kinds of Hot shots in our house. they don't last very long. Glad they sell in box of 4 and 22.
GAH! Those look atrocious. ::barfs::
Give me mini corndogs at a party/bar/work event/etc, etc..., and I'm a happy girl. Give me mini corndogs AND some chips/carrot sticks and dip, and I'll be your best friend and buy you nice presents for your birthdays.
Also? The cookies are more of a break-and THEN-bake kinda thing. You don't bake them before breaking them apart, or you'll wind up with one big, monster of a cookie. Unless that's what you're after, in which case, knock yerself out! (And take pictures...I've always wanted to know how that sort of thing goes.)
That chicken looks like the "cutlets" in sauce that I feed my cat. Frozen drummies and wings from Costco doused w/ butter and Frank's can't be any harder than this anyway.
That burger looks like the loose meats they served up in the school cafeteria using the block of guvment cheeze.
