I only heard that Rob Dalzell -- who recently saw his high-profile restaurant empire crumble -- was having an estate sale when I ran into the wife of another local
chef who had been to the sale on opening day. "I bought a lot of cute
clothes," she said. "Good stuff, expensive labels. It was all $2."

I bought a pair of vintage salt-and-pepper shakers as a memento. Good luck Rob, wherever you are.

in response to concerns that the pitch is writing this article maliciously: please investigate links between the funding of these restaurants and recent heavily publicized scandals involving a prominent medical school in Kansas City.
I have known Rob since he was in Culinary school. If you knew what a hard worker, dear person and great friend he is...you would be disgusted with yourselves that you are reporting trash news about someone who has done all he can in a crap economy. If you all at the Pitch and those commenting had even one speck of the ambition, talent and tenacity that he possesses your time would be better served than on this garbage. Shameful!!!!
Seriously???? - do you guys have nothing better to do at the pitch than to report about what he was selling in his estate sale???? with all the injustices in the world and we are complaining about the quality of clothing at a sale? The fact that this is even considered 'news' is RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Looks like the Dalzell family have moved to Southern California.
This is crazy! I can't believe what I'm reading! This article is classless and someone needs to take the picture of this house OFF of this website. I am embarassed to live in a city that entertains this kind of behavior.
Are you kidding me??? The Mrs. is a healthy normal sized woman and your complaining she didn't keep some plus size stuff around? God forbid you end up in similar situation and have complete strangers commenting randomly on the contents of your home.
I went to the sale. It was tacky. The Mrs. had two floors of old clothes. It was like the Salvation Army in that house. I am a plus size and nothing would fit.
There was one room upstairs that was taped shut. I could here muffled noises. God knows what was in there.
I think those folks are gonna be just fine. Where down south did they go?
