The event -- for adults only -- takes place at 7231 Mission Road and features zydeco music, Kansas City-style barbecue pork (for patrons who don't eat crustaceans) and more than 700 pounds of crawfish flown in from Louisiana and, according to local actor Richard Greene (a Secret Order of Crawdaddies member), "boiled to the strict specifications of a Cajun family recipe.
Also on the menu: sausage, barbecue pork, potatoes, onions, corn-on-the-cob, bread and dessert. Beverages (beer, wine, soda and bottled water) are included in the ticket price. Tickets, priced at $35 per person -- can be ordered online until April 19 by clicking on www.crawdaddies.org.
