  • Pancake stackers from IHOP bring together dessert and breakfast.

IHOP is eliminating a time-honored step in the dining process by simply inserting dessert into breakfast entrees. No longer will you have to be burdened with the difficult task of deciding whether you would like dessert. The chain's new Pancake Stackers -- crustless cheesecake layered between two buttermilk pancakes and topped with fruit and whipped cream -- slams the door shut on indecision.

If you're really hungry, you can add eggs, hash browns and a meat product. The pancake equivalent of a thick burger is available from now until June 20.

With IHOP's announcement coming on the heels of KFC's Double Down, we are officially a nation of shock entrees.
