| Napoleon has marched out of Westport |
That's a bittersweet decision for Westport, where Napoleon Bakery
had been a fixture since the 1990s. But Holmes moves around nearly as
much as the bakery's namesake, old Napoleon Bonaparte himself. Not long
after re-opening the Westport location, Holmes was offered the
opportunity to open a second Napoleon's location in Briarcliff Village.
That venue didn't last and Holmes moved out; that space is now Sugar Mamma's Bakery.
The new Napoleon Bakery address has yet to appear on the venue's website, which still refers to its Westport location. I imagine Holmes will get around to changing that before he moves yet again.
