The signs are up, and the space is ready to be built out at Five Guys Burgers and Fries in the Ward Parkway Center. The latest outpost for the burger chain in the Kansas City market is expected to open this summer in the corner spot that previously held McAlister's Deli.

Another Five Guys is slated to open this fall at Oak Park Mall (95th and Quivira, Overland Park) in a portion of the former Rainforest Cafe space. The locations in the Kansas City area are just two of the 200 new restaurants that the burger joint hopes to be slinging burgers around the country in 2010.
