Chef Guy Fieri has a bit of a man crush on Kansas City. A week after the episode covering Kansas City barbecue -- his show, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives -- features Swagger tonight at 9.
Swagger is holding a watch party to celebrate its appearance and dish up some of the burgers featured on the episode, titled "Burgers N More."
The watch party's menu features 50-cent wings and $2 off the Dead Texan and Suribachi burgers, both of which are expected to be featured on the show. The Dead Texan is a bacon cheeseburger (with an egg) sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches made with Texas toast. The Suribachi burger is just as daunting. It's a 1/3-pound burger, tempura-battered and deep fried with Sriracha and wasabi coleslaw.
If you can't make the watch party, visit the Food Network's website from the comfort of your desk chair. The site has the recipe for Swagger's Flying Monkey Chili, which, when heaped on a plate of fries, makes for one of the best appetizers in Kansas City.
Fieri also stops in at Burger Me in Truckee, California, and the Athens Family Restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee, as part of the episode.

Had the ahi tuna club today and it was lovely, glad we tried Swaggers!
Dead Texan a greasy very pedestrian and overpriced fiasco. You couldn't pay me to go back to The Swagger again.
Review your bill! The food on 07/31 was good after only a 23 minute wait, but the floors were filthy, it was hot (no A/C), and we were overcharged. Our server was pleasant, but unaware of happy hour and website discounts. She recalculated the bill, but then still tried to charge us the original amount. Manger pleaded "new staff." We wonder how many others are regularly overcharged by 10%. Cost of fame? Guy would be ashamed..
We're not going to have to watch stretch follow guy Fieri around like a star struck school girl, are we? That sawed off little loud mouth has a funny way of imposing himself on these sort of events in a vain attempt to advance an imaginary T.V. career...
