The Art of Pizza opens second restaurant in Westport

The Art of Pizza has
recently opened a second location, this time in Westport (415 Westport Road). Unlike the
Crossroads location, the new shop will be open daily. But the most
important change in hours? It plans to stay open late on Fridays
and Saturdays to serve hungry clubgoers.
The menu is identical to that of the older location (which means it includes gyro sandwiches), but there's one large exception: The Westport outlet doesn't yet have a liquor license, so no beer and wine just yet. The staff says that should change soon.
Taking over the empty storefront that used to hold Papa Keno's, the Art of Pizza might have some tough competition in its new digs. Serving
up pizza right down the road is
Joe's Pizza Buy the Slice, and
the Jerusalem Café serves up a hard-to-beat gyro.
Seems like Art of Pizza might be in for a bit of a turf war in Westport. But with so many empty shops in the area, I, for one, won't complain about the lack of variety.
