Bacon-flavored pancakes in a spray can will forever change breakfast

Get ready for bacon pancakes in a can.
  • Get ready for bacon pancakes in a can.

All that mixing. All that frying. What if you could have breakfast in just one simple spray of an aerosol can? Batter Blaster -- the company that brought you spray pancakes and waffles -- is getting ready to introduce a hickory smoked bacon version (h/t SFoodie).

But Batter Blaster isn't a gimmick. Or if it's a gimmick, it's a highly successful one along the lines of the Snuggie. CNN reported in January that the business had $15 million in revenue in 2008, which was expected to grow to $19.5 million in 2009.

Still not sold? How about a video of four chihuahuas who want Batter Blaster for breakfast? Hickory Smoked Bacon is not the only new flavor in the works as Gizmodo has a shot of the test kitchen fridge at the company. Inside there appears to be maple bacon, cinnamon roll, two kinds of chocolate batter, french toast, and an indecipherable (glazed?) option.

Although there's no target date for when the product will hit shelves,

it's hard not to be captivated by bacon in a can. Although one would

hope the flavor is better than actual canned bacon.
