The participating venues include the Capital Grille, Bo Lings Chinese Restaurant, Hallbrook Country Club, Shadow Glen Country Club, Argosy Casino, Renee Kelly's Canaan Castle, and the Culinary Center of Kansas City.
"Tickets are $50 and patrons get to taste a lot of really delicious food and support a great cause," says Mark Webster, executive chef at the New Theatre Restaurant and chairman of the board of the Greater Kansas City Chefs Association. "Capital Grille always does some kind of steak dish, and there will be lots of sampling of sweet and savory dishes, including locally made ice cream, Roasterie coffee and, of course, an open bar."
Ice-sculpture artist Jeff Addison of Grandview's Cool Carvings is making an original ice creation.
