Some people say food tastes better with the love baked in. Well, this cookbook wants you to feel the love as soon as you pick it up.
Eclectics Gallery (7015 Oak) has once again put together a collaboration of art and food.
The book contains over 60 recipes from nine Eclectics artists. With hand-painted art and embellishments on the pages, each book is different. The covers are each unique quilts made of recycled fabrics and ribbons.
The books are available at Eclectics Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Only 40 copies of the cookbook have been made; previous editions have sold out quickly.
Most of the recipes contained in the book are family favorites from the artists including cookies, comfort foods and drinks. Each recipe is simple to create, leaving more space on the page for art.
