Chef Marshall Roth and business partner Harry Blasco re-opened their gourmet hot dog restaurant, Dog Nuvo, today after the restraining order filed earlier this week by their former employer was lifted.

Independence lawyer and restaurateur Ken McClain continues to press his lawsuit, which charges misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of fiduciary responsibility.

McClain has plans to open his own hot dog restaurant in Independence and told Fat City this week that Roth and Blasco's business should be called "Fraud Nuvo."

Fat City also reported that prior to filing his lawsuit, McClain had obtained the domain right to dognuvo.com and several other domain names using the dognuvo name.

Roth, who said he is under a "gag order," did not comment further on the lawsuit.

OMG, I cannot believe all this stupid fuss over goddammed HOT DOGS. Really? It's just...well, it's about as interesting to me as the focus on the Mizzou/OU game that's happening this weekend. (Mind you, I'm a football lover, but when it comes to either of those teams...meh. :/) The news this morning was so not about the news that I actually cheered when GMA was finally on.
