We reported, over a month ago, that Raytown restaurateur Andres Orozco was making arrangements to move his seven-year-old cantina, Fiesta Azteca, from the original location at 7534 Raytown Road to much bigger quarters at 705 Southeast Melody Lane in Lee's Summit.

The new restaurant is open. "We got our liquor license yesterday and had planned to open on Monday," Orozco says. "But then we thought, Why wait? So we opened at 11 this morning."

The menu is the same as the former location, but there's a lot more seating. All the decorations that used to hang from the ceiling or were nailed to the walls of the old dining room came along, too.

"I thought I had a lot of stuff," Orozco says, "but this place is a lot bigger. When we started putting the decorations up, I realized I'm going to need to get more."
