It's all about brunch in this week's Cafe review, including the Saturday-only brunch served at Boozefish, the Westport wine bar and bistro. Starting in January, the restaurant's brunch hours will change: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There's a bigger change scheduled for Boozefish in the the new year as well: Lunch is coming back sometime in the spring of 2011.

Five months after Boozefish owner Maija Diethelm-Floyd opened the restaurant and wine bar in 2001, she made the decision to 86 lunch. The problem, she says, was that the lunch business just wasn't there.

Ten years later, Diethelm-Floyd is ready to try again. But why now?

"People know we're here now and are familiar with our style of food," says Diethelm-Floyd, who is hoping to launch her lunch hours -- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays -- in late February or early March of 2011.

Diethelm-Floyd says she can't even remember what was on the original 2001 lunch menu, but the 2011 lunch selection will be "simple and yummy."

"I'll offer three sandwiches, a quiche of the day, a soup of the day and a fresh green salad that can be served with either grilled chicken or salmon," she says. "I'm going to keep the price range from $10 to $12."
