Drive an Aquarian wild with lemon meringue pie.

The sign of Aquarius covers the period from January 21 to February 19. If you're going to invite an Aquarian out to dinner, says local astrologer (and waitress) Brenda G. Smith, think Mexican: "They love avocados, melons, spicy foods with chili and cayenne. They enjoy a good tart Margarita, too."

Because Aquarius is an air sign, says Smith, they get a yen for light, fluffy souffles and citrusy lemon tarts. "You can't go wrong," she says, "seducing an Aquarian with a lemon meringue pie."

Aquarians, Smith says, are susceptible to alluringly pungent herbs, in particular dill, fennel and winter savory. Those herbs are particularly good for making sauces to use with another Aquarian passion: freshwater fish like trout, catfish and pike.

"Aquarians have very eccentric tastes," Smith says. "If you're going to host a dinner party for Aquarians, potluck is always good because they're drawn to ususual and offbeat foods. They can eat too many sweets, but prefer light and fluffy desserts that reflect the airy qualities of their sign: cheesecake, souffles, coconut cake and chocolate mousse."
