Earlier this week, Fat City presented a list of restaurants serving brunch, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Easter Sunday, which is only two weeks away.

Today we offer even more restaurant suggestions for the holiday. Remember, it's always good to make reservations for holiday dining.

Grunauer Restaurant in the Crossroads will be serving a brunch menu on Easter Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a variety of Austrian specialties as well as two items offered only on Easter: a roast rack of lamb and a freshly baked raisin roll.

"In Austria, breads are very important during the Easter holiday," Nicholas Grunauer says. The brunch menu features traditional Austrian and German sausages, salads, soups and a brined pork shank, stelze, slow-roasted and served with spicy horesradish mustard, cabbage salad and two side dishes. For reservations, call 816-283-3234.

Ophelia's Restaurant & Inn in downtown Independence is hosting Easter Sunday brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The brunch is priced at $23.95 for adults and $11.95 for children under 12 years of age. The brunch buffet will feature a carving station with both roast lamb and ham, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, a breakfast casserole, an array of salads, vegetables, breads and desserts. Reservations are still available; call 816-461-4525.

One of the most glamorous brunches in the city is served at Benton's Prime Steakhouse, on the 20th floor of the Westin Crown Center Hotel. Executive chef Martin Hueser says there are a few reservations left. The Easter brunch buffet will feature a seafood station with oysters, king crab legs, show-me-state "caviar," salads, bourbon-flamed prime tenderloin, West Coast halibut, stuffed veal breast, carved tom turkey, spring vegetables and other side dishes, as well as festively decorated desserts such as miniature cheesecakes, different tarts and an Easter show cake. Brunch will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and is priced at $45 for adults and $18 for children under 12 years of age. For reservations, call 816-391-4460 or 816-474-4400.

On the ground floor of the Westin Crown Center Hotel, the more economically priced Brasserie Restaurant also will be serving an Easter brunch from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. featuring a children's buffet and a separate adult buffet with turkey schnitzel, baked Atlantic salmon, a carving station offering both roast beef and honey-glazed ham, a cooked-to-order pasta station, and an array of desserts. There will be an Easter egg hunt at both the early seating in the morning and later in the afternoon. This brunch is priced at $24.95 for adults and $12 for children ages 6 to 12.

Webster House, the 18th-century schoolhouse turned retail shop and restaurant, will be serving an Easter Sunday brunch menu from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Call 816-221-4713 for reservations and more information.

The venerable Golden Ox Steakhouse in the West Bottoms will be serving a dinner buffet at the restaurant, 1600 Genessee, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The buffet -- "It's not a brunch; there are no breakfast items," says co-owner Steve Greer -- will include carved prime rib, smoked pork loin, honey-glazed ham, fried chicken and smoked salmon. The price is $17.95 for adults and $6.95 for children ages 12 and under. For reservations, call 842-2866.

The Latin Bistro and Culinary Center, 6924 North Oak Trafficway, will be serving a brunch menu on Easter Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu features both traditional American and Latin breakfast and lunch items. Call 816-420-9333 for more information or reservations.

There are only a few afternoon reservations left for the buffet Easter brunch at the Gaslight Grill at 5020 West 137th Street in Overland Park. The restaurant will also be serving dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Call 913-897-3540 for reservations.

When does the Easter Bunny confront growling dinosaurs? On Saturday, April 23, when the T-Rex Cafe at 1847 Village West Parkway at the Legends complex hosts "Breakfast with the Easter Bunny" from 8 to 9 a.m. The restaurant, featuring noisy animatronic dinosaurs, will also be open on Easter Sunday -- serving from its regular menu -- from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

And now, for something completely different: Want sushi? RA Sushi will be serving from its regular menu on Easter Sunday from 3 to 11 p.m. Strawberry pancakes with whipped cream? The Village Inn at 5800 Broadmoor in Mission will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Big gay burgers? Hamburger Mary's will be open Easter Sunday, offering up its "Drag Brunch" from noon to 2 p.m. and serving from its regular menu until 9 p.m. A steak burger with cheese and a chocolate malt? Steak 'n Shake is open 24 hours on Easter Sunday -- just like every other day of the week.
