Dine Missouri -- a new free, iPhone and iPad application from the Missouri Restaurant Association -- has an index of more than 1,200 restaurants (all members of the MRA) across the state. You can search by location, price and type of cuisine.
With close to 200 restaurants in the Kansas City area, it's worth a look to locals with an iPhone or iPad. Everyone else can still use the restaurant search function on the MRA website.
