Get ready for karaoke and nights on the patio, Leawood. Paddy O'Quigley's Pub & Grille has opened in the former Blue Moose Mountain Grill space at 5317 W. 151st St. Fans of the Blue Moose will likely find the atmosphere similar in the renovated bar and grill.
"It is very quaint, comfortable and much more pub-like - a cozy neighborhood gathering place with a huge open patio," Tom Intfen, a
partner in the Paddy O'Quigley restaurant group, told The Kansas City Star.
Paddy O'Quigley's has regular Saturday and Sunday specials (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) of $2 sliders (or six for $10 with tots) and wings (seven for $4). Thursday is burger day, when a 10 oz. burger is only $5.49 for lunch (until 2 p.m.), and Tuesday is burger night, when that same burger is $5.99 between 5 and 10 p.m.
Paddy O'Quigley's now has six locations, rapidly expanding since it was
founded in 1990. In addition to the Leawood space, a new restaurant in North Kansas City opened in March
at 6312 N. Chatham.
