We all have different tolerances for pain. But with money on the line, how far are you willing to push yourself? That's the question asked by a YouTube video shot at Grand Slam Liquors & Convenience (631 Grand), wherein "Kenny" attempts to eat the convenience store's spicy pickle in less than 10 minutes for $200 (h/t to Tony's Kansas City, video after the jump).
I had no idea that Grand Slam had a spicy pickle that no man could withstand. Because even with three bottles of Nestle's strawberry milk and a willing attitude, Kenny doesn't come close to winning the bet. A second contestant, Eric, is even less successful.
While you might not stop into Grand Slam in an attempt to re-create this impromptu food challenge, you should know that they've always got the latest Boulevard Smokestack series and are (or, perhaps now, were) under the radar, meaning that you've got a good chance to grab new brews on release day.
Anybody ever had the pickle that created this bet?
