Are we headed for FroYomaggedon?

Get your money out of froyo futures.

The condiment bars may never be refilled. The scales could sit empty. And the frozen yogurt might never be churned again. Kansas City could be headed for FroYomaggedon -- the inevitable crash in the self-serve market.

We're admittedly a few years behind in the frozen-yogurt craze, but what could be coming down the dispenser doesn't look promising. The Orange County Register writes about the 2009 crash in California that left only a few survivors and thousands of homeless gummy bears (why will no one think of the bears?). With Yogurtini, Red Mango, Peachwave, Green Apple, Orange Leaf, Bon Bon, Yogurtopia, and Lemon Tree all now in the Kansas City area, might we be headed for a crash?
