Sanchez, a star of the Food Network, has two restaurants in New York City, and he's partnering with Trifecta Management Group on the new restaurant. Back in May, he told Food GPS about his concept for Mestizo:
It’s going to be sort of my favorite Mexican dishes reinvented and reimagined … I’m developing a menu for all the House of Blues … I’m doing this with my partners from Trifecta Management. Our goal is just to bring good food to all different markets.
Gordon Biersch (100 East 14th Street) opened its first area brewpub within the Power & Light District in March 2008. The downtown location will brew the beer for the Leawood restaurant at 11652 Ash. The 801 Chophouse (71 East 14th Street) opened in the downtown district in November of the same year as Gordon Biersch. The new steakhouse will be at 11616 Ash.
