Sarpino's offers 40 toppings for its pizza and the choice of one of four dipping sauces with each pie: red hot, ranch, jalapeno ranch and marinara. The menu also features calzones, salads, pasta, sandwiches, and slices of tiramisu or cheesecake.
Sarpino's is a nine-year-old chain that started in Illinois and now has 39 stores in five states. The Westport location is the third Sarpino's in the Kansas City area and the first in Missouri. There's a pizza shop at 12520 Quivira in Overland Park and a restaurant at 3804 W. 95th St. in Leawood. The location in the Ranchmart Shopping Center opened this April.
The Westport restaurant is open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. The delivery area for the pizza joint stretches from the River Market to Waldo. You can order online or by phone at 816-931-8600.
