Stopping for a cup of coffee is as likely to be determined by your need for caffeine as your route to work. Well, you might want to fire up the GPS or schedule a detour. Oddly Correct has opened its coffee shop at 3934 Main.

The coffee shop sells hot and iced coffee for $2, as well as bagged coffee ($12 for 12 ounces). Oddly Correct also offers home delivery of its in-house roasted coffee. A small glass pastry dome on the counter usually has a few baked goodies (think scones) from the Soho Cafe & Bakery. For those who want to take more than java home, the shop has screen prints and work from local artisans for purchase.

Oddly Correct is unique in that it offers pour-over coffee, a preparation wherein hot water from a kettle is slowly poured over just-ground beans in a ceramic cone resting in the center of a metal stand. Water then works its way through a filter to the bottom of a cone, wherein it fills a mug resting below.

You can also find Oddly Correct at the Westport Farmers Market on Wednesdays (4:30 to 7:30 p.m.) and BadSeed Farmers Market on Fridays (4 to 9 p.m.). The Main Street shop is open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
