Jack in the Box opens on Monday in Blue Springs

Missourians will no longer have to drive to Arnold to find a Jack in the Box on their side of the state line.

Jack in the Box opens in Blue Springs on Monday at 808 N. Missouri 7 — the former site of Village Gardens. A Winstead's and a McDonald's sit on the other corners at the intersection of Missouri 7 and Mock, so get ready for a burger war.

In the past two years, Jack in the Box has opened two locations in the Kansas City area, at 10317 Metcalf in Overland Park and at 211 S. 18th St. in Kansas City, Kansas. Both are open 24 hours a day.

The next one will be to open Plaza Speedway and Ridgview Falls and then maybe Lees Summit.
