Park Place has a slate of new restaurants to offer Leawood eaters. Gordon Biersch opened its second location in the metro area last month at 11652 Ash (corner of 117th and Ash). Another restaurant, Mestizo, is slated to open next month at 5270 W. 116th Place. Celebrity chef Aaron Sanchez was in town last week to get ready for the opening. He's also rumored to be filming a future episode of his show, "Heat Seekers," in Kansas City.
